SAT San Francisco Bay Area Makeup Policy

If you need to miss a class for your Excel Test course, making up your absence is very easy! We allow live make-ups or online make-ups. Here's how they work:

Live Make-ups
Excel Test has classes year-round in many locations around the SF Bay Area. If you miss a class in your regular course, you can make up the same topic in another course running at the same location OR at any of the many courses running at alternate locations. Simply:

1. Go to www.exceltest.com and log into your online student account
2. Click on the Makeups button under "Schedule a make-up if you have to miss a class"
3. Click on the class you will miss

Here, you find a host of options to make-up the missed class. It is best to schedule live make-up classes as early as possible as there is limited seating. Each student is limited to four free make-ups beyond which there is a charge of $50 per make-up. All make-ups must be done within 30 days of the end of your course.

Online Make-ups

Alternatively, you can call our offices and schedule an online video make-up. We will give you two weeks access to the online video lecture on the SAT topic you missed. You can watch the video whenever and wherever you want, making this the ideal make-up option for students with a very tight schedule.

All online classes stream in high-definition video, so a high-speed internet connection is necessary.

Exceptions to the Above Makeup Policy

Please note that for the Excel Test courses that only run at select times of the year, like our SAT Summer Intensive Courses, AP Courses, or Engineering Courses, makeups are not guaranteed.  Please call the main office for any makeup options in those programs prior to registering.
